- 5 decorative bottles that will each hold 9 ounces or more
- 1 1 pound bag of Skittles
- 5 empty, clean, plastic water bottles
- Funnel
- 5 paper coffee filters
Step 2: How to Make Skittles Vodka
- Separate the skittles into individual flavors, placing each flavor in a separate water bottle.
- Divide the vodka between the water bottles.
- Replace the cap on each water bottle, and let the vodka sit overnight.
- Shake each bottle vigorously in the morning. If the skittles have not totally dissolved, continue to let the solution sit, shaking periodically.
- When the candy has totally dissolved, you'll have colored vodka with a white film at the top.
- Skim the film off before filtering the vodka.
- Place the funnel in the glass bottle, lined with a coffee filter.
- Pour the vodka from the water bottle into the glass bottle.
- Remove the funnel, discard the filter, and rinse the funnel with cold water until clear.
- Seal the bottle.
- Repeat with each water bottle, filtering and transferring the contents to the glass bottles.
- Store in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to serve.
