- 1 pound of ground sausage, in any flavor that you desire
- 1/2 pound of cheddar cheese (may be mild, medium or sharp)
- 3 cups of flour-based baking mix, such as Bisquick
How to Make Basic Sausage Balls:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Use a cheese grater or a food processor to grate or shred your cheddar cheese you may use a fine shred or a course grate, whichever you prefer. The finer the shred, the more incorporated the cheese will be into the final product, while a coarser grate will give you larger chunks of gooey cheese in your sausage balls.
- Mix together all of your ingredients in a large bowl. You may use your hands or a wooden spoon.
- Using your hands, form 1 inch balls with your mixture.
