Step 1: What You Need To Make Pumpkin Cupcakes
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 cup light-brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 15 ounces pumpkin puree
Step 2: How to Make Pumpkin Cupcakes
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line cupcake pans with paper liners to make a total of 18 cupcakes.
- Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice in a medium bowl.
- Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter and eggs in a large bowl.
- Mix dry ingredients into the large bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Add pumpkin puree and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the paper liners in the cupcake pans, filling each liner half full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a cupcake tester or toothpick inserted into the cupcake comes out clean.
- Transfer to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely.
