- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups raw nuts
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons baking soda

- 2 quart saucepan
- Candy thermometer
- Spatula, greased

Step 2: How to Make Nut Brittle
- Place sugar, corn syrup and water in saucepan, and stir to combine.
- Clip the candy thermometer to the side of the pan, making sure the bulb is submerged, but not touching the bottom of the pan, and the gauge is visible.
- Heat the mixture until the temperature reaches 305 degrees,
- Add the butter, stirring until melted and well blended.
- Stir in salt and peanuts, mixing well.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the baking soda add the baking soda
