Become a Pro Gamer
Professional video game tournaments are held throughout the United States and Canada by Major League Gaming (MLG), North America’s first professional videogame league. These video game tournaments are open to all registrants and spectators.
Some video game tournaments are held online, and some are held live in arena-style settings. Typically, video game tournaments are done in teams playing through "ladders" in order to move up through the ranks. If you don't already have a team, some sites will allow you to register as a free agent which will put your name on display for recruiting teams to see.
If you do well in video game tournaments, you can become sponsored by companies that will pay you for endorsements. Pro gamers earn thousands of dollars in cash and prizes from video game tournaments.

Become a Video Game Tester
Video game testers play a crucial role in the development of new games. Video game testers conduct "quality assurance" by finding mistakes, bugs, and any other problem with the video game. So, as a video game tester, you must be patient and meticulous so that you catch any of problems with the game before the game is sent out for production and sale.
The down side is that it's not easy to become a video game tester. The reason is that video game tester jobs are not typically advertised. The way you get into this line of work is either by working in the video game industry, knowing someone in the industry, or by approaching video game developers directly.
Start by writing letters to video game developers to them let them know how enthusiastic you are about video games. Describe your passion for video games, the amount of time you spend on video games, what your favorite video games are, and what video game consoles you own. You really want to sell yourself to the video game developers - so brag as much as you can about your love of video games and your amount of experience.
Also, make sure that your writing is done well. Your grammar, punctuation, and spelling should be perfect, after all, you're going to be expected to provide quality reviews and feedback about the video games that you test.
