Step 1: What You Need to Make Leftover Halloween Candy Cake
- 1 package of cake mix, with the eggs and vegetable oil needed to prepare it
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 8-12 ounce jar ice cream topping
- 8 ounces whipped cream
- 3.5 ounces of leftover Halloween candy, chopped
Step 2: How to Make Leftover Halloween Candy Cake
- Mix the cake according to package directions.
- Bake the cake in a 9" x 13" pan.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for five minutes.
- Use a fork to poke holes in the top of the cake. .
- Blend the condensed milk and ice cream topping in a small saucepan over low heat
- Stir constantly while cooking for five minutes, until warm and thinned. #Pour 3/4 of the milk and topping mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
- Sprinkle 3/4 of the leftover Halloween candy over the cake.
- Cool completely.
- Top with whipped cream
- Drizzle the remaining ice cream topping over the whipped cream
- Sprinkle the remaining chopped leftover Halloween candy on top.
Step 3: Other Ways to Make Leftover Halloween Candy Cake
- Make your favorite cake and frost it as desired. Cover the frosting with a layer of chopped Halloween candy. Make sure to cover the frosting in between with candy as well.
- Fold 2 cups of chopped Halloween candy into any cake batter before baking. Frost as usual, or just top with confectioner's sugar.
