How to Make Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 2 large avocados

  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice

  • 1 Roma tomato, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Dash of Cayenne pepper

Making Basic Guacamole


1.  Cut both of your avocados in half length-wise and remove the pits. Note that sprinkling with lime juice or leaving the pit in longer keeps an avocado from quickly browning, so only remove pits as needed to preserve freshness.



2.  Scrape avocado out of the shell and place into mixing bowl.
3.  Mash avocado with fork. 





4.  Add other ingredients (lime juice, tomato, cilantro, salt and Cayenne pepper) and mix.
