What You'll Need
- 2 apples
- 5 strawberries
- Juicer
- Straight edge knife
- Cutting board
- Paper towels
- Pitcher
- Stirring spoon
- Drinking glass
- Mason jar or other air-tight container
Preparation
- Rinse your apples and strawberries under cold water. Dry them with a paper towel.
- Leaving the skin on, place your apples on the cutting board and use your knife to slice them into quarters (four equally-sized pieces per apple).
- Place the pitcher under the juicer's spout so it will collect the juice.
- Push the apples down the juicer's chute one piece at a time. Leaving the skin on will produce a cloudy color, which is perfectly normal.
- Next, add the strawberries. You don't need to cut them before juicing.
- When finished, use your stirring spoon to stir the juice together in the pitcher
- Pour the juice from the pitcher into a drinking glass and serve. Try using a martini shaker filled with ice to serve the juice chilled.
- Also, try to drink your freshly-squeezed juice within 20 minutes to absorb more of the live nutrients and enzymes.
- To properly store your juice, pour it in a mason jar or other air-tight container and place in your refrigerator. It will keep for a maximum of 24 hours.
