Ingredients and Equipment
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 tbsp finely chopped celery
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- Black pepper
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp scallion greens, finely minced
You'll also need to make sure you have the kitchen equipment to make egg salad:
- Sharpened knife
- Cutting board
- Mixing bowl

Step 1: Mix
- Combine hard-boiled eggs, celery, scallion greens, mayonnaise, dijon mustard and a
sprinkle of black pepper in a medium-sized bowl.
- Stir.
- Mash up slightly to get to a desired consistency.
Tips
- Use older eggs as they're easier to peel once they've been hard-boiled
- Put your egg salad on toasted bread to avoid soggy, floppy sandwiches
