Crockpot Meatloaf Tips
There are a few simple procedures to follow when making meatloaf in a crockpot:- Don't use more than 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef, to be sure that the meatloaf cooks through.
- Spray the crockpot with a nonstick spray, so you'll be able to remove the meatloaf easily when it's cooked.
- Crock pot meatloaf will not brown on top. If that bothers you, you can top the meatloaf with tomato sauce or brown gravy before cooking.
- If you have a large crockpot, you can add a few whole potatoes, washed and pierced for baking, next to the meatloaf. They will "bake" while the meatloaf cooks.
