  1. Blend with a mixer the first six ingredients.
  2. Stir in the crabmeat, onions, add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Serve with crackers, toasted bread and vegetables.

Step 2: How to Make a Hot Crab Dip

The most basic Hot Crab Dip is a simple combination of three ingredients:

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can crab meat
  • 1 large package cream cheese
  1. In a food processor, finely chop onion.
  2. Add cream cheese and process to mix with onion.
  3. Add drained crab meat and lightly process to mix.
  4. Bake in small flat casserole for 25 minutes at 350F

To make a zestier Hot Crab Dip add one of the following combinations to the above mixture:

  • 1 Can Cream of Shrimp Soup
  • 1 Can Cocktail Shrimp, drained
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Mix thorough with basic crab dip and Bake until the cheese becomes bubbly. Baking time will be around 30 minutes depending on the oven.
