- Cinnamon rolls are sometimes served with a milk and confectioner's sugar glaze or a cream cheese frosting.

Step 2: Cinnamon Rolls Tips
- There are some tips and tricks you can use when making cinnamon rolls:
- Sprinkle raisins, walnuts, or pecans on the cinnamon filling before rolling up the dough.
- When slicing the jelly roll, you want to keep the rolls as round as possible. Using a piece of dental floss instead of a knife gently cuts the rolls without distorting the shape.
- Cinnamon rolls can be made ahead and refrigerated.
- After slicing, place on cookie sheet or in a baking pan, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, allow them to come to room temperature, and then rise for about 45 minutes until double in size.
- You can also freeze cinnamon rolls after forming.
- Remove from the freezer the night before you would like to serve them
- Place on a cookie sheet covered loosely by a damp towel.
- They should thaw and rise overnight, and be ready to bake in the morning.
