How to Cook Dried Beans

Bean Burrito Instructions

  1. In a large pan, saute garlic, onion, and green peppers in olive oil until they have softened. After they have softened, add the canned or cooked black beans. Remove from the heat, keep warm and set aside until you are ready to serve.
  2. Place prepared green onions, cheddar cheese, monterey jack cheese, lettuce, and fresh tomatoes into serving bowls or onto a serving platter.
  3. Portion out black olives, picante sauce, sour cream, and plain yogurt into serving bowls.
  4. Warm up the flour tortillas either on the stove top in a pan, or in the oven on a low temperature. Keep warm until ready to serve.
  5. Bring everything to the table, and have each person assemble their own bean burrito.
