The Electric Lemonade contains neither lemonade or electricity. The lemon flavor comes from bar mix, and the electric current comes from the blue curacao that colors the drink.

• 3/4 oz vodka
• 3/4 oz blue curacao
• 2 oz sour mix
• Lemon-lime soda, such as Sprite or 7 Up
• Crushed ice
• Lemon wedge and maraschino cherry for garnish
• Cocktail shaker
• Highball glass

1. Combine the vodka and blue curacao in a cocktail shaker.
2. Fill a highball glass with ice.
3. Pour the vodka curacao mix over the ice.
4. Fill the glass with lemon lime soda, and stir.
5. Garnish with a lemon wedge and maraschino cherry.

2. Substitute fresh orange juice for the sour mix and soda.
