    The holiday season puts people in the mood for pumpkin and spice. Making and sipping on a pumpkin spice cocktail is a great way to unwind and relax after a long, hard day. To make a pumpkin spice cocktail you will need a cocktail shaker, ice, a martini glass, water, vanilla vodka, Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, pumpkin pie spice, Bailey's Irish Cream, ground nutmeg, a short cinnamon stick, and Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Liquor.

  • Step 1: Preparation

    Fill the martini glass with ice and water to chill it. Club soda seems to work best and it seems to chill it faster than water. Club soda also removes any water spots from the inside of the martini glass. Let the water, or club soda, and ice sit in the martini glass until you are ready to pour the pumpkin spice cocktail.

  • Step 2: Mixing

    Fill the cocktail shaker up ¾ of the way with ice. Pour one ounce of the Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Liquor, one ounce of the Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, one ounce of vanilla vodka, and ½ an ounce of Bailey's Irish Cream into the cocktail shaker. Put the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake it well for approximately one minute.

    Dump the ice and water out of the martini glass and coat the rim of the glass with the pumpkin pie spice. Pour the pumpkin spice cocktail into the martini glass from the cocktail shaker. Take the short cinnamon stick and put it into the pumpkin spice cocktail, sprinkle some ground nutmeg on top, and enjoy.
