What You Will Need

• Large black boots, preferably snow boots
• Red sweat pants
• Red sweat shirt, at least one size larger than the person wearing the costume
• T-shirt one size larger than the person wearing it
• 2 or more pillows for belly padding
• Elastic band that is at least 4 inches thick, as it will secure the pillows under the shirt
• 1 yard of artificial white fur or polar fleece
• White gloves, if desired
• Hot glue gun
• Thick black belt
• Large red cloth bag, filled with empty boxes or real presents

Make the Santa Claus Costume

1. Cut the polar fleece or artificial fur into strips, to be used as trim
2. Hot glue the strips around the bottom of the sweat shirt, the neck of the sweat shirt, down the center of the sweat shirt, and around the arm cuffs of the sweat shirt
3. Put the t-shirt on and stuff the pillow underneath it
4. Use the elastic to hold the pillows in place
5. Put the sweat shirt on over the shirt and pillows
6. Buckle the black belt around your waist
7. Put on the sweat pants
8. Put on the boots and tuck the sweat pants into the boots
9. After you apply the make-up and beard, you can put on the white gloves

What You Will Need

• White beard, or beard-like material from a costume shop
• Liquid latex
• Red lipstick
• Santa Hat

Apply Make-up, Beard and Hat

1. Put on your Santa hat
2. Apply the beard, using adhesive if necessary
3. Use the lipstick to put a tiny, circular dot on each cheek. Blend the lipstick in slightly, creating the rosy cheek effect
4. Apply liquid latex around the corners of the eye and around the edges of your mouth, creating the affect of slightly wrinkled skin
