Introduction

The Rob Roy, named for Scottish folk hero Robert Roy MacGregor, is similar to a Manhattan but made with Scotch whiskey rather than rye whiskey. Step 1: What you'll need to make a Rob Roy Cocktail

  • 1 ½ oz blended Scotch whiskey
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • A dash of Angostura bitters
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish

  1. Pour the Scotch whiskey, vermouth and Angostura bitters in a mixing glass or cocktail shaker over ice.
