How to Make a Quicktime Using iPhoto

Start by importing photos to iPhoto and selecting the event for the slideshow. Then determine a background color or image and how big the slideshow should be. Step 1: Create Slideshow

Open iPhoto. Keep in mind the slideshow will be saved to the desktop of the computer you are using. Select the event by clicking on it. Go to File, then Export or press the Shift-Command-e (Shift-Apple-e) keys at the same time. This brings up a dialog box which will be used to create the Quicktime slideshow. Click on the Quickitme tab to begin making the slideshow. Select the ideal size of the movie. In the same dialog box select the duration that each slide will remain visible and a background color. Step 2: Export Slideshow

Once on the desktop, double click the icon to view the newly created slideshow. The slideshow is now ready to be shared.
