How to Make a Quicktime Using iPhoto Videos
In this video, graphic designer Parker demonstrates how to create a personalized Quicktime slideshow of images in iPhoto. This video is part of a larger collection of iPhoto videos available on Mahalo.com's YouTube channel.
Step 1: Create Slideshow
Open iPhoto. Keep in mind the slideshow will be saved to the desktop of the computer you are using. Select the event by clicking on it. Go to File, then Export or press the Shift-Command-e (Shift-Apple-e) keys at the same time. This brings up a dialog box which will be used to create the Quicktime slideshow. Click on the Quickitme tab to begin making the slideshow. Select the ideal size of the movie. In the same dialog box select the duration that each slide will remain visible and a background color. Step 2: Export Slideshow
To learn how to adjust the music through the slide show watch "how to make a slide show" in iPhoto. Click the Export button, then select a name to save the slideshow as and the location to save the slideshow file. This will export the file to the desktop of the computer you are using. Once on the desktop, double click the icon to view the newly created slideshow. The slideshow is now ready to be shared.
