Open iPhoto. Keep in mind the slideshow will be saved to the desktop of the computer you are using. Select the event by clicking on it. Go to File, then Export or press the Shift-Command-e (Shift-Apple-e) keys at the same time. This brings up a dialog box which will be used to create the Quicktime slideshow. Click on the Quickitme tab to begin making the slideshow. Select the ideal size of the movie. In the same dialog box select the duration that each slide will remain visible and a background color.
