Step 1: What You'll Need to Make a Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake
- A sheet cake, baked
- A cookie sheet or large piece of cardboard covered with foil to serve as a base
- A Mickey Mouse cake pattern, enlarged to the size you'd like, and printed on card stock
- A sharp knife
- Frosting:
- Black or brown
- White
- Red
- Blue
- A junior mint or chocolate covered peppermint patty for the nose
- A pastry bag with a writing tip

Step 2: Instructions
- Place the pattern on the cake and cut away the excess.
- Using the white frosting, outline the face.
- Frost the ears and top of the face in black or brown frosting, making sure also to frost the sides of the cake.
- Frost the face with the white frosting.
