This page will show you how to make a Godmother Cocktail, which is a smoother version of the Godfather cocktail. In the Godmother, the whiskey base of the Godfather is replaced with vodka.

Allow yourself about 10 minutes to make the Godmother; this is a very easy and quick drink to make. The drink is usually served over ice in a rocks glass.

The first thing you will need to do is make sure you have all of your ingredients you'll need to make a Godmother. Here is a list of what you will need:

• Vodka
• Amaretto
• Cocktail glass
• Ice cubes
• Rocks glass

1. Place some ice cubes in the bottom of your rocks glass.
2. Pour in the vodka .
3. Add the Amaretto. Make sure to add the Amaretto after the vodka, as the sugar will make the Amaretto sink to the bottom.
4. Stir to combine.

Although a Godmother is ausually served over ice, you can also serve in in a martini glass. You'll need a cocktail shaker with a lid and a strainer.

1. Chill the martini glass.
2. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
3. Add the vodka and the Amaretto to the shaker.
4. Cover and shake well.
5. Strain the Godmother into the prepared martini glass.
