- Before purchasing a video card, make sure you buy the right one for your computer.
- Different motherboards support different video card. Make sure the motherboard of your computer supports the card you plan to buy.
- There are three major slots for video cards: PCI Express, AGP, or PCI. Purchase a video card that fits into the slot of the motherboard.
- Make sure the computer monitor is compatible with the video card. If not, you will not get all the benefits of the card and should consider buying another card or purchasing a new monitor.

Step 2: Where to Buy it

Step 3: Installation

- Place the card into the slot and secure it according to its instructions.
- Reassemble the computer.
