So far there are only 8 character slots on each lot in The Sims 3, so the most famous multiples you can have in your game are The McCaughey Septuplets. Where you get the cheesecake in The Sims 2:

Cheesecake is only available if you have the expansion pack Sims 2: Open for Business. One of the sims in your game will have to make the cheesecake. There are four ways you could get the cheesecake to your pregnant sim:

1. Before she gets pregnant, have your sim study cooking at the bookcase to level 2 so she doesn't start a kitchen fire and then either practice cooking or study from the bookcase some more until she reaches level 7 cooking skill. Now, she can make her own cheesecake.
2. Have another sim in your pregnant sim's household make the cheesecake as in 1.
3. Have one of your pregnant sim's friends who is a playable character in another household make the cheesecake as in 1. Put it in their inventory and then have them invite your pregnant sim over and give her the cheesecake as a gift.
4. Have one of your controllable sims make the cheesecake as in 1 and then put it up for sale in their bakery so that your pregnant sim can buy it.

To make your sim have twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets, or septuplets in The Sims 3, have your pregnant sim do one or more of these new natural gaming actions. The more of these actions your pregnant sim does, the more likely it is that she will have multiple births. Each of these actions also increases the number of multiples that your pregnant sim is likely to have:

If you run out of patience with the natural game play methods for getting sims to have twins, there are always these cheat methods. Before doing these cheats, get the sim pregnant. Once your sim is pregnant, spawn the Tombstone of Life and Death (L&D):

• Open the cheat window by pressing at the same time
• Control Shift C
• Type in the cheat window:
• in The Sims 2:

• While holding down the shift key, click on any sim.
• Select the options:
• Spawn > More > Tombstone of L&D

• Once the Tombstone of Life and Death is spawned:
• Control the sim you want pregnant.
• Click on the Tombstone of Life and Death
• Choose the option merger of genetic transfer and select the dad, who has to be on the lot.

• Once your sim is pregnant:
• Make sure you are controlling her
• Click on the Tombstone of Life and Death
• Select the option force twins

Make sure to disable the testing cheats when you are done, because they can really mess up your game:

• Open the cheat window by pressing at the same time
• Control Shift C
• Type in the cheat window:
