Taping Information
"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" tapes at The Daily Show Studios, located at 733 11th Ave., between 51st and 52nd Street, in Manhattan, NYC 10023.c They usually tape shows Monday through Thursday at 5:45 p.m. Audience members should arrive at least an hour before taping starts.
Remember, you have to be over 18 to attend a "Daily Show" taping, so make sure to bring a photo ID.
Both advance tickets and standby tickets are free.

Advance Tickets
To get advance tickets for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," you'll need to order them on their website. You can order up to four tickets per show.c Make sure to look at the taping schedule on the website before requesting tickets.
If no schedule appears, that means that no tickets are currently available. You can still enter your e-mail address into the box below the words "Keep Me Informed," and the show will e-mail you once tickets become available on the site. But check back quickly, because tickets get reserved very quickly.
Remember, the show doesn't take mail-in requests or phone requests for tickets, so you'll have to order them on the website.
Standby Tickets
If you didn't order tickets online and want to see the show last-minute, you can get same-day, standby tickets. You'll have to stand in line across from the studio at 52nd Street and 11th Avenue. It's often a long line.
Keep in mind that if you're the first person in the standby line, that doesn't guarantee you tickets to the show.

"The Daily Show" History
"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" is a Comedy Central talk show famous for its satirical take on news stories. It's very popular with young audiences. Jon Stewart started hosting the show in 1999, taking over for comedian Craig Kilborn. The show has launched the careers of several famous comic actors and personalities, including Steven Colbert, Steve Carell and Rob Corddry.
