"Good Morning America" Taping
"Good Morning America" is a two-hour news and talk show on ABC every weekday morning. The show is filmed live Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at ABC Studios in Time Square at 44th Street and Broadway. There is also a summer concert series GMA features every Friday morning from May through August.c All tapings are open to the public, no matter your age.c
Online Tickets
Tickets to "Good Morning America" can be reserved online. You can tell the show the best three dates for you to attend. Adding a little blurb about yourself and why you want to come to the show may increase your chances of getting tickets. Tickets are free and include a backstage tour of the studio. If you're lucky, you may even be able to meet an anchor or two.c c
Stand-By Tickets
Stand-by tickets are available the day of the taping. Get there at 6:45 a.m. at the latest; the earlier you arrive, the more likely you'll be chosen by the producers to attend the show.c
Summer Concert Series
Located at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, the GMA Summer Concert Series begins around 8:30 a.m. on Fridays May through August. The park opens at 6 a.m. and it is recommended you get there as early as possible; since the concerts are free and open to the public, it can get crowded very fast. c Check the website for a list of upcoming musical guests.

GMA History
ABC's "Good Morning America" has been on the air since November 3, 1975, with a one-hour weekend edition debuting in 2004. With acclaimed hosts of the past like Joan Lunden, Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer, plus current anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, the show gives their rivals at NBC's "The Today Show" a run for their money.c The program includes news, talk, weather and special-interest stories. The show won the first three Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Morning Program, sharing the first award in 2007 with "Today" and winning the following two years themselves.
