In 1965, when Rankin Smith announced the formation of the new NFL team in Atlanta, GA, within 24 hours his office was deluged by phone calls and letters requesting seats for the 1966 season. And now, 44 years later, the Georgia Dome is still receiving thousands of requests for tickets. Obtaining season tickets for the Falcons is not an easy task. If you're interested in getting tickets for the season, it's a good idea to start early in the year.
Step 1: Getting Season Tickets
Season tickets and individual tickets do not go on sale until the dates for the games have been determined. Prior to that, it's wise to get your name on the Falcon Priority Wait List. Once the current season ticket holders have made their decision about the upcoming year, then tickets are distributed to those people whose names are on the list, on a first come, first serve basis. Based on the availability of the type of ticket requested, efforts will be made to honor your request for a specific area, and you will be offered the best seats closest to your choice. Once you put your name on the list, you will be contacted about a month later to provide more details regarding your seat selection. 20% of the ticket price is required when ordering your seats, and at the same time, if you care to, you can enroll in the installment payment plan.
