Air Miles Commercial
This video features a television commercial for the popular Air Miles rewards program. Air Miles allows you to earn points on purchases you make anyway and redeem them on a variety of products, presumably including power washers.
Introduction
When you shop with the Air Miles American Express Card and your regular Air Miles Rewards Card, you get double the Air Miles credited to your account. This means that you'll get the Air Miles rewards you want exactly twice as fast without changing your spending habits.
Step 1: Determine if You Qualify
The Air Miles Amex card is not a premium card in terms of qualifying requirements. If you have good credit and a moderate level of income, chances are high that you'll be approved. However, if your credit score has taken a recent drop due to other new inquiries on your credit report, the opening of other new credit accounts, late payments on any credit file or even a divorce or bankruptcy, it might be best to wait a couple of months or more in order to improve your credit score and get it back to a comfortable level before moving on with the application process.
Step 2: Apply
Amex spends a lot of money on advertising to persuade you to apply for their products, so the actual application process is intended to be as streamlined as possible. You can apply for any American Express card online or by phone. If you're looking to apply for your first Amex card, this one makes a good candidate, especially since they do not categorize this as a premium card like a Gold or Platinum card.
Step 3: Receive Card
Once you've completed your application, all you can do is wait! American Express may tell you that it will take a few to several weeks to process your application, but in practice they usually get back to you in a fairly short period of time. After all, they want the card in your hand as quickly as possible. Once your card has arrived, all you'll need to do is follow the included instructions. After calling the phone number on the front of the card to activate it and signing the back of the card, you should be ready to shop.
