Step 1: Take Care of Yourself
Fair or not, men are visual creatures. They like women who look healthy and attractive. This does not mean that you need to look like a model--men love women who look real and natural (in fact, many guys are actually intimidated when a woman is excessively attractive). However, this does mean that you should take steps to look as good as possible. Eat right, get some exercise, and wear clothing and makeup that flatter. Taking the time to look your best will not only make you more physically attractive, but it will also demonstrate that you value yourself enough to make the effort. -
Step 2: Make Friends
You don't want to be too pushy with men you meet, so it is best not to show romantic interest immediately. However, this does not mean that you shouldn't approach men who catch your eye. Just remember to keep it friendly at first. Get to know men, and let them get to know and appreciate you, too. If a romance is in the cards, things will happen eventually.- If you are having trouble getting conversations started, try making a positive comment about someone's appearance. Everybody loves a compliment! If you like his shirt or his hair, let him know it. Also, if you see a man reading a book you love, or shopping in a grocery aisle for an item that you use regularly, make a comment about it and see what happens from there.
Step 3: Get Active
The more you do, the more men you will meet. Join clubs and group activities. Wander around by yourself. When you get out and do things on your own, you will find that it is natural to become acquainted with people that you come across. The internet is another good social networking tool, but be careful not to get too trusting with people you have never seen.-
