How to Fix Your Home Network

  1. Check if there are any physical problems. Make sure the modem and router cables are all connected. 





  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Reset your router using a soft or hard reset. To do a soft reset, grab a pen or bobby pin and tap the button in the back.




  4. To do a hard restart, unplug the router and modem for
    25 seconds and plug it back in. 
  5. Make sure the indicator lights on the modem and router are blinking. 





  6. If none of the above works, call your internet service 
    provider.
