You can apply right over the internet at the Mississippi Department of Employment Security's website, www.mdes.ms.gov. Before filling out your application, be sure that you have all of the required information listed in step 1. Once accepted, you will need to keep the government up to date on your job search. This means you will need to file a claim every week in order to keep your money coming. This is so that you can keep them updated with the latest information, and tell them if you have been offered a job, earned any income, and are available to accept work that may be offered to you.
