Workforce Center Sees Record Crowds
Although the unemployment rate in Arkansas dropped three tenths of a percent in August 2009, the Workforce Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, maintains that they are seeing record numbers of claimants filing for benefits. Over 11,000 people have filed for unemployment insurance benefits at the Fayetteville center in the first 8 months of 2009, which is 94% more than filed during 2008.
