Hundreds of years ago, vampires were believed to be real and were the cause of fear and suspicion, but most people today see them as a myth. There have been many local variations of vampire images and characteristics, but since the publication of several vampire novels in the 19th century, including Bram Stoker's Dracula, a pop culture image of the vampire myth exists. Recently, there have been more variations to the images in media of vampires, including in the popular novel collection Twilight.
Step 2: The Characteristics
