• Adding applications to your iPhone or iPod Touch is a great way to turn your mobile device into a video gaming system, social networking tool and web browser. What's better, the process is quick and easy!

• If you don't already have iTunes installed on your computer or mobile device, go to the official Apple website and download the appropriate version of iTunes. Once you have downloaded the program, follow the steps to install it on your computer. If you don't already have one, you'll also have to sign up for a free Apple account.

• If you haven't already done so, you'll need to find some applications to download. If your mobile device is set up for Internet browsing, you can use it to browse iTunes. If your mobile device is not set up for web browsing, use your computer to search the iTunes store for apps.

• Once you have found an application that you want to download, click on it to be taken to the information screen.

1. If your desired app is a paid app, click on the "Buy App" button
2. If the app you want to download is a free app, click on the "Get App" button
3. If you're not already signed in to your apple account, a screen will pop up asking you to do so

If you have downloaded the app using your mobile device, it will automatically be installed and will be ready to use within minutes.
