Step 1: What is a Blogroll

A blogroll is a term used for a list of links that you share on your blog. Step 2: The Dashboard

To create your own blogroll you will need to add blog links to your WordPress blog. All changes and updates to your blog is done through the Dashboard and that is the case for adding links. The Dashboard provides an easy to use section just for adding links. Most WordPress themes come with link and blogroll support so all you need to do is add your links and you'll be all set. To access the Dashboard you need to login to your WordPress account. Open the Dashboard and click on Links on the left-hand side column. Then click Add New. Step 3: Adding Links

Once you have opened a blank link in the Dashboard, simply enter all of the relevant information. First you will need to type in a name for your link in the Name dialog box. This would typically be the name of the blog or site you are linking to. Then you should enter the web address of your link in the Wed Address dialog box. You can also add a description of the site you are linking to in the Description dialog box. Below that you can choose the category to add your link to, generally Blogroll. Once your link information is entered you can hit the Add Link button and your new link will appear on the list.
