Introduction
Tofurkey is a brand of meatless turkey-style products. This recipe is for the stuffing-filled, frozen product that is usually available at grocery stores during the holiday season. Feel free to create your own variations. Once you have the basics down, you can incorporate your favorite seasonings, spices and flavors. -

- A casserole dish
- Aluminum foil
- Your choice of sturdy veggies, such as onions, garlic, carrots, parsnips, or potatoes, cut into large pieces
Step 2: Cook
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Remove Tofurkey from package, take out of plastic wrap
- Place in casserole dish
- Brush with half of your baste
- Cover with foil
- Roast for 1 hr, 15 min.
- If using veggies, add to dish after 45 mins.
- Brush on the rest of your baste
- Roast for an additional 10 mins.
Step 3: Serve
Once the Tofurkey comes out of the oven, it will be ready to serve! Carve it up, and serve alone or with traditional sides like green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.Like the bird it emulates, Tofurkey has plenty of leftover options. If you have some in the fridge the next day, try making a sandwich with mustard on rye bread. It is also great chopped up and tossed on top of a salad, or reheated and sprinkled over macaroni and cheese or another type of pasta.
