How to Make Three Cheese Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients

Equipment

  • Flat surface
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork or wire whisk
  • Skillet
  • Burner

Instructions

1. Crack the eggs carefully on the flat surface and open into the mixing bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.






2. Beat the eggs using the fork or wire whisk until scrambled. Stir in the cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.






3. Melt the butter over low heat in the skillet. Tilt the pan to coat evenly with butter.  Increase heat to medium.

4. Pour the egg and cheese mixture into the hot skillet.  Use the spatula to break up any cheese clumps.






5. Stir the eggs as they cook in the skillet, scraping the bottom and sides of the pan to allow them to cook evenly. When they've been cooked to your liking, transfer to a serving plate and serve.c 

Tips and Suggestions

  • Don't let the egg make contact with the shell to prevent salmonella.c  
  • Drip a bit of egg in the skillet to test the temperature.c
  • For food safety, the Food and Drug Administration recommends cooking scrambled eggs until firm and no longer runny.c
