How to Make Soft Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Chives

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • Burner
  • Dull knife
  • Small bowl
  • Fork
  • Spatula

Instructions

1. Melt butter in frying pan on burner over medium-high heat. Crack three eggs in a bowl and lightly stir with a fork to break up the egg yolks.

2. Pour eggs into frying pan. Use a spatula to push the cooked egg from the outer edge of the pan towards the middle while tilting the pan down; this allows the raw egg to flow onto the top. Scramble the eggs gently in order to keep them intact.

3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the eggs.

4. Turn off the burner and remove your pan from the heat while the scrambled eggs are still wet along the outer edge and feature a few glistening areas.

5. Plate the eggs, then sprinkle them with chives for color and flavor.

Variation

During cooking, you can add extra ingredients, such as ham, cheese and parsley.c
