Mahalo cooking expert Miranda Valentine shows you how to make Betty Crocker's chocolate frosting.
Ingredients
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp unsweetened baking chocolate
- 2 tbsp butter

Make Betty Crocker's Chocolate Frosting
- Put your saucepan on the stove over low heat.
- Add butter and chocolate, stirring with the spatula to ensure the chocolate doesn't burn.
- Once the chocolate is fully melted, remove from heat.
- Add powdered sugar and water. Stir with your spatula.
- Use your electric mixer or whisk to mix thoroughly.
- Pick up the frosting with your spatula and frost the side of the pan to test if it is ready. If the frosting smooths on and sticks to the side of the pan, it is finished.
