The kingdom building simulation computer game 'We Rule' requires balancing a variety of tasks to increase profits and score XP points. You can build farms, businesses and housing for citizens. Each type of activity has the ability to produce revenue for your kingdom. Citizens in 'We Rule' pay taxes per household. Maximizing your kingdom building schedule requires collecting taxes on a timely schedule so you can maximize your gold coins and your experience points.

Learning the best ways of building your kingdom can be accomplished through trial and error, or you can review guides and advice from 'We Rule' game masters. This video game guide presents a step-by-step overview of how to collect taxes from citizens in 'We Rule'.

Once you have built up your kingdom with crops and some businesses, you can build homes where citizens of your kingdom will live in exchange for paying taxes every 4 hours. You can opt to build red, brown or blue homes, but they all pay the same amount in taxes.

After citizens are living in your houses, you must identify houses that are ready to pay taxes. Homes can be taxed every four hours. Review all homes in your kingdom for floating coins above the roof. Every home that exhibits the floating coins is ready to pay taxes into your kingdom's coffers.

Collect taxes by pressing each home with floating coins. A floating notification will let you know you have received 2 XP points and 4 gold coins. You will earn these points and coins at each home that is ready to pay taxes. After four more hours, the same tax collection process can be repeated.
