He presents a Window 7 shortcut method of quickly accessing the time settings folder and briefly reviews how to change the time to the format that you prefer.
Step 1: Prepare Your Computer for Customization
Close all programs and open folders on your desktop. This steps makes it easier to view your time settings without extraneous folders blocking your view, or causing confusion.
Step 2: Open the Time Display Settings Window
Click your start menu button and insert "intl.cpl" into the search box at the bottom of the menu. Click the "Enter" button on your keyboard. The "Regional and Language" settings box will appear.
Step 3: Customize Your Time Setting
You can customize the date and time formats on your computer and it will reflect in the task bar. Select between the options presented including different short and long date options, short and long time options and when the first day of the week starts. After you make your selections press the "Apply" button. This button will automatically change your settings for your review. Look in your task bar and see if the time setting matches your time display preferences. Continue changing options and pressing "Apply" until the taskbar time is displayed correctly. Once complete, press the "OK" button and you are finished with the customization process.
