How to Build a Farmville Waterfall

When you have your FarmVille farm in Facebook and want it to be the best you can make it, one way would be to add a waterfall to the landscape.

This is a bit tricky but is actually a few optical illusions. One way to stay your waterfall is by adding in the blue bales of hay and making them stack. There are several ways to stack them. The first is to add them behind one another and give the impression of height. When they are slid behind each other, you can see how they begin to take the shape of water.

There are ponds that you can get and if they are placed in front of the blue bales of hay they look like the base of the waterfall. Virtual pond waterfall design can be as creative as you want it to be.

Remember that the entire waterfall is a series of optical illusions.

To begin this process the first thing you will want to do is to get a few ponds and place them at the top portion of the area you want to have the water fall. Once you have placed the ponds into a line it should start taking on the look of a creek or a river flowing into the next pond. Since the ponds in FarmVille are different shapes you can make your body of water as unique as you want.

Step 2: Creating the Bottom of the Falls

Once you have the Falls started and the shrubs outlining the sides of the waterfall, you will then be ready to move on to the area where the water collects at the base of the falls.

This is simply created using the ready formed ponds and placing them against the bales of hay . The hay will be a flat surface, but if you place the round pond against the hay bale, it will cause the edges to be softened. This will give the look of water more than the flat edge.

Step 3: Completing the look

Now that you have built up the top section of the waterfall and have added in shrubs to give the feel of height and placed the pond at the bottom you are ready to complete the look.

The base can be as complex as you desire. The ponds can be placed side by side and be enlarged to cover as much space as needed. They can also be placed end to end so that they give the appearance of the river or stream continuing past the waterfall. this again is based on the users desire and design.

Step 1: Forming the Shape of the Falls

When you start the process you will buy several narrow ponds and place them end to end so that they give the illusion of being a continuous flow of water. This will give you the start of the water feature.

Once the ponds have been placed you will place the blue bales of hay against the last pond that was placed and this will start make the pond look like it has come to the head of the falls. Using several shrub you will surround the sides of the hay with greenery making the shape of a straight water fall. Placing the shrubbery in a staggered pattern will aid in making the falls look like they are dropping water to a lower level.
