If you are looking to get some discounts on your tickets, you are going to want to book far enough in advance to achieve this. Most airlines have a minimum of two weeks in order to get a discount. You will usually get about one hundred dollars off your ticket this way. In addition, on occasion, you can find online airline coupons; some airlines give these out as a promotional tactic.

Also, if there are others flying with you, you will need to know this as well, if you are purchasing the tickets all at once. If you are flying with children, you will most likely have a cheaper fare for their ticket, as most airlines have specified children's fair.
