Perhaps you have noticed that when you or someone else has been strongly emotional, objects move or fall, or incandescent light bulbs burn out. If so, you may have natural telekinetic ability. Psychokinesis, and remote influencing, are equivalent terms that are used for this paranormal ability. Other actions that are telekinetic include the ability to cause objects to spin, break, vibrate, shake, or change temperature. This guide on How to Become Telekinetic gives you, in three steps, the methods for developing the psychic ability to intentionally move objects that have been tried and proven by others.
Some believe that in order to perform telekinesis phenomena you have to be born with this ability and that you can also develop that innate ability with practice. Others believe that anyone can learn this ability. It is true, however, that people will vary in their abilities and the rates at which they can learn this skill. It is important that you accept and are at ease with the rate at which you learn this skill and not compare yourself by others successes.
This guide illustrates various ways that you can develop that ability and, for those who do not, it can lead you into a way to initiate that ability for you. This guide first starts with a meditation exercise to develop your ability to concentrate and focus your attention. To that end, it would be good first if you were to read a book that supports this practice, such as "The Great Stillness. The Taoist Meditation Series, Volume 1," by Bruce Frantzis. Developing the skill requires persistent practice and may take from a month to several months to manifest, so patience is a virtue.
Before you start this process, you may also want to prepare, select or purchase the object that you want to use to work on to develop your ability. There are instructions for the making of psi wheels on many sites, or you can use a pen that rolls freely forwards. Psi wheels can be purchased in stores that have sell spirituality items or you can find them on the web. Instructions are given for practice on both objects. Other objects that you can use are mentioned in step 3 below.
How to Do Telekinesis
This is part one of a two part series. The presenter opens the video with a demonstration of his ability to move sunglasses several centimeters forward on a desk, and says that he can also move heavier objects such as coffee mugs. Developing of this skill can take a few months, so it is a gradually acquired skill. The first step is cultivating the right mind set. For some, this means clearing the mind and having no background noise, but for others background noise and an active mind can work as well. They key is to do whatever works best for you to get to the right state of mind. The second step is to pick a long, light object to move, such as a pen, as you will be initially working on the ability to move an object forward. Third, you need to visualize the object and the surrounding environment because you are not just working on the object. The fourth step is to physically move the object forward and backward repeated with your hand. You can practice this for up to twenty minutes, some may want to do it longer to develop a strong mental connection ...
About Telekinesis and a Scientific Explanation
There are theories, but there is no adequate scientific explanation for telekinesis. Scientists don't know what to think and many often deny its existence, but Albert Einstein once said, "Do you remember how electrical currents and 'unseen waves' were laughed at? The knowledge about man is still in its infancy." http://courses.umass.edu/plnt597s/Bleepquotes.htm A commonly used explanation of its occurrence by practitioners is say that the connection between the mental intention to move an object and the actual movement is caused by a force called "psi" or "qi," (as it is called in Traditional Chinese Medicine, where qi projection by healers is a commonly known ability). Spin-mediated consciousness is a novel quantum theory recently proposed to explain the effects of telekinesis and other similar phenomena. http://www.google.co.cr/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=2&ved=0CAwQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Farxiv1.library.cornell.edu%2Fpdf%2Fquant-ph%2F0208068&ei=UQFVS_rpIcuXtgf2npzrCA&
Step 1: Developing a Focused and Undistracted Awareness
For most people, the best approach to developing skills in psychokinesis is to first learn how to focus your attention and allow the conscious mind to settle. Over time, this practice fosters the development of a focused awareness that is not affected by mental thought streams or external distractions. A time proven method to foster this state is meditation. Mindfulness meditation is a practice that focuses the attention on the breath, permitting the development of focused intention and a relaxed awareness. This practice is sometimes called "breath watching," because that is all you are supposed to do. You do not control the breath in any way. You can keep your eyes open and not focused on anything. Below are the recommended steps for performing mindfulness meditation. Note that some of the steps mention energy-related practices used in Taoist meditation practice and they help in the development of chi.
- Set a timer for 20-30 minutes.
- Find a comfortable place to sit. If you have a back pain, find a chair that offers adequate back support. You can also use the lotus posture if you are flexible.
- Sit upright and allow the chin to drop a little so that there is a space created at the top of the neck where it meets the cranial cavity. (This area is called the occiput and placement of the head in this posture helps energy flow over the head during meditation).
- Relax the tongue and place tip of it on the roof of the mouth. (This connects the Du energy meridian from you back with the Ren meridian that travels down the front of the body).
- Do a progressive relaxation of the head, neck, chest (allow it to relax downward) and shoulders, back, belly and hips. Also relax the legs and feet.
- Breathe through the nose. Follow the breath as it goes in and out. Do not try to control, just watch. Allow yourself to relax on each out-breath.
- Your attention will wander from time to time, to thoughts or body sensations. Just gently bring your awareness back to the breath as it goes in and out of your nose.
- When the timer goes off, end the meditation and ease yourself back into the world. You can then start the next step in developing your telekinetic ability.
Step 2: Practicing Your Concentration on the Object and Energy Development
There are two methods that are used to direct energy to objects to make them move. The first is to use the mind to project energy directly and the other is to use the mind to project energy through the palm of the hand or fingers. The process of developing a sense of the energy and connecting energetically with the objects is described here.
Mental connection with the object will be facilitated and become easier as your regular practice of meditation continues. This is actually a type of active meditation that has a different intention and focus. Here you focus on the object, making an intimate connection that includes the object, yourself and the area surrounding the object. You do not focus your eyes on the object itself, but this entire area becomes a single thing. Develop a sense of being in a tunnel that connects you and the object. This is a feeling experiment, so rely on your feelings and not your thoughts. Gaining a strong, felt sense of the object, which is an energetic connection, is the goal. Do this for 20-30 minutes a day. Your ability will improve with time.
If you are a kinesthetic learner, it may help to actually to first move the object manually, such as a pen backwards and forwards for an extended amount of time to get a strong connection with it. This may help entrain the focus onto the object for some people more quickly than the mental exercise previously described. When you are done with the physical movement, you can then concentrate on your energy from your mind to move the object.
Lastly, to develop the qi energy in your hands and fingers for moving objects, you can rub the palms of the hands together 8 times and then hold them in front of your body about shoulder's distance apart, with center of the palms aligned. Relax your arms and shoulders. Move the palms toward each other to about a fist's distance apart and then back again to shoulder's width. Sense the fingers and the center of the palms as you move your hands in and out and feel the development of an energetic connection between the hands, as evidenced by tingling, coldness or warmness, or magnetic sensations. You should eventually get a sense of an energetic ball between the hands. Then practice connecting the energy from your hands with objects. If you have a strong visual bias in your perception, it will help at first to do visualization, but developing a felt sense of the energy is necessary for skill improvement.
Step 3: Moving the Object
You will know, or develop a feeling, when you are ready to move on to inducing movement the object. The previous exercises, once completed, help you develop a confidence and a strong energetic link between you so you can perform telekinesis. The objects you choose at first for experimentation should be light and easy to move. If you choose a Psi wheel, please make note that it can often move by the release of heat projected from your hand or currents in a room, so to get a reliable result that will really test your skill, it is best to put it under glass. You should also do your meditations to develop your energetic connections while it is under glass. To make the wheel move, confidently direct your energetic connection to make it rotate in one direction. Then you can practice rotation in the other direction. You can also use a toothpick floating in water for experimentation.
If you are using your hands to help the object move, experiment with different hand and finger positions. The center of the palm is a major point from which qi emanates; however the index finger joined with the middle finger is also powerful to make a more pointed, direct energy connection. Use the thumb to hold down the ring and pinkie fingers for the second method. Play with both to see which works best for you. As you have successes, challenge yourself by moving the hands further away, conditioning your mind so that it will eventually not need need them at all to induce movement.
As your skill develops, try increasingly heavier objects to challenge yourself to become more proficient in your ability. You can use a pair of sunglasses, or coffee mugs, as you increase in your confidence in the use of telekinetic power.
