The Seattle Seahawks are one of the premier teams of the National Football League, and they also sell out the majority of their games at the Qwest Field. Along with having a solid football team, they also have an outstanding cheer-leading squad, the Seattle Seahawks Sea Gals, who keep the crowd pumped up and entertained when play has stopped and at half-time. If you're into dancing and football, and you live around the Seattle area, you should know how to become a Seattle Seahawks cheerleader if you're interested in performing for the public and representing your city. The Sea Gals are known for their energetic jumps and stunts, as well as staying in great shape and fitness. Step 1: Requirements and Attire
- There are only a few requirements needed for you to audition and successfully become a Seahawks Cheerleader.
- Firstly, you must be at least 18 years of age. Secondly, you should have received your High School Diploma, or an equivalent, by August 31st, 2010.

- To register for auditions, you must print out a Registration Form and agree to Sea Girl squad rules. Both can be seen on these websites: here and here.
- For the audition, you should be wearing short lycra type shorts and a crop top/bra top. For shoes, they should be dance shoes or tennis shoes.

Step 2: The Audition
- There are a number of things that you should bring to the audition. First, you should bring a filled out Sea Gal Questionnaire, along with picture ID. A photo of yourself is also required, to hand to the audition organizers.

- You will be judged on three qualities, namely, dance ability, physical appearance, and showmanship.
- The date for the first audition is April 10th, Saturday, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. You will be dancing freestyle to a one minute clip selected by the Seahawks organization.http://www.seahawks.com/sea-gals/auditions.html
Step 3: Final Auditions
- If you are invited to return after the first tryouts on April 10th, then you will learn a set routine and audition once more on April 11th, Sunday, 2010. You will be competing against former Sea Gals who are not a part of the 2009 squad.http://www.seahawks.com/sea-gals/auditions.html
- The routine that you will perform will be taught to you after the Preliminary Rounds. If you are invited back after the second audition, then you will proceed to the Final Competition. There will also be individual interviews scheduled for either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m.
- The final audition will take place on April 18th. You will be taught the new final routine. The finalists will be photographed at the beginning of the session.
