Step 2: Build a Portfolio
Before you can market yourself as a professional photographer, you will need to build a portfolio of work to show prospective employers. Take pictures of your friends and family members. You may also be able to find models who will work on a TFP (time for prints) or TFCD (time for CD) trade basis. Place an ad in the talent section of Craigslist, and you may find yourself some amateur models who also need to build their portfolios. -
