Step 1: Review the Requirements
- The path to becoming a Rhodes Scholar is not an easy one, so before you go any further you should make certain you fit the criteria. Here are some of the basic requirements:
- You must be between the ages of 18 and 24
- You must have obtained your undergraduate degree before your Rhodes studies are set to begin
- Please make note that although applicants in all majors will be considered, not all of these fields of study will be offered at the University of Oxford. - Developing relationships is an important part of the application process for those interested in becoming Rhodes scholars. These are the professors and other individuals that will be beneficial to you in writing recommendations. Get to know your professors and your advisors! A significant part of the application process assesses your impact on the university and those around you.
