Step 1: Prepare Your Headshot, Cover Letter and Resume
- As soon as possible, rent a Santa Claus costume. Telling a costume store owner that you're looking for a job as a Mall Santa and only need the costume for an hour may result in being able to borrow the costume.
- Dress as Santa Clause.
- Apply rosy red cheek makeup.
- Stand in front of a plain, nondescript background such as a painted wall.
- Set the timer on a camera to take your photo or have a friend help.
Step 2: Prepare Your Resume Packages
Here are the 3 pages that you should assemble and prepare to distribute to places that hire seasonal Christmas staff:
