As each member of the ''Tool Academy'' may not have prior knowledge that they are being considered for the show, be prepared for the potential backlash it may cause. Additionally, all participants on the show will be under an immense amount of stress from the challenges and therapy sessions. Be prepared to deal with a lot of drama to turn your tool into the perfect partner.

Introduction
In order to turn "complete tools" into respectable partners, the producers of Tool Academy require the "tools" to have no idea they are being considered for the show. They are told they are competing in a contest of some kind, but really are sent to the Tool Academy. In addition to keeping the secret from your significant other, to nominate someone for the show you'll need to complete the application and send in a video. -
Step 1: Keep the Secret
As most "tools" see nothing wrong with their behavior, getting them to change is not an east task. To get them to appear on the show, you'll need to be a bit sneaky and keep the idea a secret.- Have a good cover story in case your are interrupted by your significant other when completing the application or creating the video
- Don't talk about the show to friends and family as they may slip and spill the beans to your partner
- Make up a good story to convince your mark to show up and be enrolled in the Tool Academy
Step 2: Complete the Application

Step 3: Create a Video
After producers receive your application, you will have five days to create and submit a video, showing them in the flesh why your partner needs a change.
