How to Become a Contestant on The Apprentice

Introduction

While recently the show has featured actors, athletes and musicians on Celebrity Apprentice, producers are always seeking determined and ambitious cast members for the civilian version of the show. To find those lucky contestants, they ask those interested to complete an application and create a video.

Step 1: Know the Requirements

Having a keen sense of business is key to success on the show, but prospective contestants must also meet a variety of other requirements to be considered for the program.

Step 2: Complete the Application

The first step to getting into the board room with the Donald is filling out the application. While the initial application is fairly painless, if you are selected as a finalist you will be required to complete an additional, longer application.

  1. Visit the NBC official site to download and print the application
  2. Complete each question truthfully and clearly
  3. Be honest as all responses may be verified
  4. Explain why you'd make a great candidate for the show
  5. Read and sign the attached release forms

Step 3: Make a Video

Producers can only learn so much from what you write on paper, so to get a better idea if you may be perfect for their show, they ask all applicants to create a short video.
