Debuting in 2008, Silent Library is based on the British series Fist of Zen and a Japanese show Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! Six contestants are seated at a table in a library and each given a card. The contestants flip the cards to reveal either a green note telling them they are safe or a yellow card featuring a skull and crossbones. The player with the yellow card is selected to perform a task and often humorous task while the rest of the contestants try to stay as quiet as possible.
