Auditions are generally held in the Spring for the Cheerleading Squad. The hopefuls will be evaluated on a 4-8 count technical combination and a free-style presentation. Those that pass that part of the competition then move on to a choreographed section of performing the routine learned earlier in the audition with a small group of other dancers. Eliminations will take place throughout the presentations. The group will be narrowed down to approximately 50 who will advance to the "Final Auditions."
Step 3: Take the Interivew
If you've made it this far, now is your time to shine. The Final Audition includes an interview. The judges are looking for someone who is articulate, talented, and would be a valuable addition to the team. Monday and Tuesday are reserved for practices. The final audition makes up 50% of your score, with the practices and interviews the other 50%. Good Luck Making the Team!
